This dish was from an old issue of Everyday Food and it's one of those keeper recipes. Just ask my friend Stephanie who showed me her copy of the recipe- tattered, stained and well loved. It has become a favorite with her family and she makes it often. I think you'll love it too, not only because it's delicious but because it is lickety split to make. In the kit:
1 pound local, humanely raised, grass pastured ground beef
1 red onion
1 bunch carrots
1 lime
6 jalapeno chiles
1 head garlic
2 cups basmati rice
basil
From your kitchen:
1 can (13.5 ounces) coconut milk
salt
fish sauce
soy sauce
brown sugar
